“If Mr. Lin is a policeman, there is no need for Edward to e here.(若林木先生是警察,那爱德华警官也没有必要来这里了。)”

Lin and Hudson, the police officer of Edward, know each other. But why did Mr. Lin help the owner of Hudson steal a pipe?(林木先生和赫德森馆主,爱德华警官都是相互认识。

I really want to know.(是啊,为什么?

Even though Mr. Lin and the owner of the Hudson Pavilion know each other and I know each other, how can you be sure that Mr. Lin helped the director of the Hudson Pavilion guard against theft?(夫人,我还是不明白,即便林木先生和赫德森馆主认识,和我也认识,但你怎么就确定是林木先生帮助赫德森馆主监守自盗呢?)”

赫德森和林木也说:“I also want to know.(我也想知道。)”

宋七梧耸耸肩,“I'm not sure!(我不确定啊!)”

“What? Madam, you said you knew the burglar, and that the burglar was the owner of the Hudson Pavilion and Mr. Wood, and now you say you're not sure, what the hell are you doing? Oh! I see, you're delaying, but here's London. It's no use delaying. Unless you can prove you're not a burglar, you and your husband have to go back to the police station with me for an investigation?(什么?

宋七梧看看爱德华警官,又看看赫德森馆主,说道:“But I'm sure there is a relationship between Edward and Hudson.(但我确定爱德华警官和赫德森馆主有男女关系。)”

“What?(什么?)”

爱德华警官一听,严肃的道:“Madam, please pay attention to your words, do not slander the owner of Hudson, we have no relationship between men and women.(夫人,请你注意言辞,不要诋毁赫德森馆主,我们没有男女关系。)”

“Oh You said no? Officer Edward, can you prove that you have no relationship with Hudson? If not, that is.(哦?

“What? I... You... What's wrong with you?(什么?

“Don't forget, that's what you said to me just now. I'm very disappointed with you London police. It was a terrible trip.(别忘了,你刚才也是这么对我说的,我对你们伦敦警察很失望,这次旅行真糟糕。)”

爱德华摆摆手,“This is... Well, madam, I did convince me. Now can you tell me who is thieves? I really don't have time to waste here.(这……

“Yeah, I don't have time to waste either, so what I want to say is, it's just a prank. The pipe is hidden by the owner of the Hudson Pavilion, and Mr. Lin is just helping him play a prank. And why does the owner of the Hudson Pavilion do that... I think it is because... She just wanted to see officer Edward, and let him e here in good faith.(是,我同样也没时间浪费,所以我想说的是,这只是一个恶作剧,烟斗是赫德森馆主藏起来了,而林木先生只是帮助他一起恶作剧而已,至于赫德森馆主为什么要这么做……

““Oh! Is this really an unbelievable reason? Why did the owner of Hudson ask Edward to e here?(噢!

Because the owner of the Hudson Pavilion admires Sergeant Edward, she wants to see Sergeant Edward in this way. If Sergeant Edward finds the burglar, it's a great feat. It doesn't matter if he doesn't, and similar burglaries don't happen for the first time and have happened before, but they've never been found before. Am I right?“(问得好!

坐在一旁的赫德森馆主缓缓站了起来,她鼓了鼓掌,说道:“I can't believe you guessed everything, but I have one last question.(简直不敢相信,你居然猜到了一切,但我还有最后一个问题。)”

“How do you make sure that I admire Edward?(你如何确定我爱慕爱德华?)”

“It's very simple. When officer Edward entered the door, he was very familiar with the way you greeted him.(很简单,爱德华警官进门的时候,你和他打招呼的称呼和方式,很亲昵。)”

“That's it?(仅此而已?)”

“No, more importantly, I can see from your eyes that your eyes are full of love.(不,更重要的是,我从你的眼睛里看出来的,你的眼睛里爱意很浓。)”

“Oh! Look at it!(噢! 赫德森转而对爱德华说,“Everyone else saw my love for you, except for you, Edward.(别人都看出来了我对你爱,除了你,爱德华。)”
